Happy New Year.

Happy New Year from Iceland.  The video of the fireworks was taken at the Lutheran Church downtown.  Although, the use of fireworks is prohibited most of the year, Icelandic Search and Rescue is allowed to sell it as a fund raiser at this time of year.  Everyone fires it off beginning around 8 PM and all of it around midnight.
